Privacy Policy
What we collect for sourcing mail, the manufacturer list, and the portal.
Blueship & Co ("we") sources industrial goods from India and runs a manufacturer list from Chennai. This page says what we collect and why.
Account data
When manufacturers register, we store name, email, a hashed password, and the company profile fields they provide, including documents uploaded for verification.
Business verification data
To verify a listing we collect registration country, official business registry identifiers (for example GSTIN in India or a Companies House number in the UK), and a business email on a company domain. Those fields are visible to the manufacturer in the portal and to Blueship staff. They are not shown on public company pages.
Enquiries
Buyer enquiry forms collect name, email, and optional company, phone, quantity and destination details. We deliver those to the relevant manufacturer through the portal inbox. They are not published on public pages.
Public profiles
Published company pages intentionally omit registry IDs, GSTIN, phone and email. Buyers reach manufacturers through the enquiry form.
How long we keep it
We keep account, listing and enquiry records while they are needed to run the sourcing desk, the manufacturer list, and the portal. If you close an account or ask us to remove data we no longer need for the service or the law, we delete or anonymise it.
How we contact you
We may use email for account and listing messages. The public Contact page also offers WhatsApp for short notes to the Blueship office. We do not sell your contact details.
Security
We protect accounts with hashed passwords and limit staff access to listing and enquiry data. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care with what you send us.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses what the browser needs to keep you signed in and to load pages. We do not run a third-party advertising tracker on these pages.
Your requests
To correct or delete account or enquiry data we hold, write to contact@blueshipandco.com. Tell us which email or company the request is about so we can find the right record. See also our Terms of Service.
